In a world divided, a heart feels worn, Navigating paths, both fierce and forlorn, A weary mind, with battles to endure, For being queer in a world unsure.

From every angle, judgmental eyes, Discrimination in whispered sighs, The weight of prejudice, a heavy shroud, As mental exhaustion cries aloud.

In silence battled, unseen the fight, Within, emotions are tucked out of sight, A constant struggle, a daunting maze, In this divisive world’s perplexing craze.

Yearning for acceptance, a warm embrace, To find a refuge, a sacred space, To be free, to love, to simply be, Without the burden of scrutiny.

Yet hope resides, in hearts aligned, In souls that know, love is unconfined, In unity, a strength is found, Breaking barriers, love knows no bound.

Through weariness, the spirit remains, Amidst adversity, love sustains, Together we rise, resilience unfurled, Finding solace in this queer, divided world.
