Holy and Loving God,
On this National Coming Out Day, we come before you with hearts full of gratitude and hope. We lift up all who have stepped into the light of their truth, embracing the sacred journey of authenticity. For the courage to live openly, for the strength to speak boldly, and for the love that defies fear, we give thanks.
We remember those who are still finding their way, who hold their truth quietly in their hearts, unsure if they will be met with acceptance or rejection. Wrap them in your boundless grace, God. Let them know they are not alone, that they are cherished beyond measure, and that their worth is not defined by anyone’s approval but by the divine image in which they are created.
Help us to be a church, a community, and a world that truly reflects your inclusive love—a love that knows no boundaries, no prejudices, no conditions. May we be voices of affirmation, allies in justice, and a family for all who seek a place to belong.
Bless those who have come out, those who are on the journey, and those who walk with them in love. May they be met with acceptance, support, and the knowledge that they are your beloved, exactly as they are.
In the name of Jesus, who calls us to love radically and live authentically, we pray. Amen.
