In the land of liberty and dreams, A tapestry of many seams, I find a fire, a seething rage, For injustice on every page.

Marginalized voices, silenced, ignored, Systemic privilege, often ignored, In this land of opportunity, Not all share in its unity.

I’m angry, not for anger’s sake, But for the souls that ache and break, For those whose dreams are held at bay, By systems that refuse to sway.

In the shadows, they fight and strive, Systemic privilege keeps them alive, A heavy burden they must bear, As the privileged walk without a care.

From red-lined streets to biased laws, The marginalized face unjust flaws, Institutional barriers in their way, It’s time we make the darkness day.

I’m angry because we can do more, Break down the walls, even the score, To build a world that’s truly just, Where privilege isn’t a must.

Let’s listen, learn, and stand as one, In the face of injustice, we won’t be undone, For unity and empathy will be our guide, In this journey, we’ll walk side by side.

Let’s mend the rift, in love we confide, In the name of justice, let’s heal the divide, To create a world where all belong, And as anger fades, we’ll right the wrong.
